Easy Felt Bookmark Tutorial

What you will need:
- Felt – we recommend stiff crafting felt that is at least 1 mm thick (see our favorite below)
- Embroidery floss – we love using this because it can be used in so many projects, but sewing thread can work great as well!
- Sewing needle

step 1:
Firstly, cut 2 pieces of felt into a 2.5 inch by 2.5 inch triangle.
step 2:
Next, use a washable marker or pen to mark every 1/4 inch along the top and side of your triangles. We recommend marking them about 1/4 inch from the edge.
step 3:
Combine the two pieces of felt using a blanket stitch.
The blanket stitch is created by starting from the front and pushing your needle through both pieces of felt. Then bring your needle over the top of the felt pieces, and insert into the loop created. Pull tight and the loop should move over the top seam.
step 4:
Finally, customize to your preferences! We love adding beads and sequins.
